Underworldpics.io is a Create to Earn Platform & NFT Marketplace where users will be rewarded UWP tokens for interacting with the platform.
Underworldpics' mission is simple. Time is the ultimate currency. Underworldpics aims to reward users for spending time and creating on the platform. According to Underworldpics founder Reggie Simpkins, "web3 is unlocking the keys to make the internet more inclusive and fair. Currently, users do not benefit from spending their currency interacting on social media. The big social media players intrude on privacy by selling users' info to the highest bidder. Nothing is free. Signups are not free. Free means that you are the product. I think social media users should receive some monetary reward for using web 2.0 social media platforms".
How to earn UWP tokens:
I. Connect wallet
Users can earn UWP tokens by connecting their phantom wallet to Underworldpics and an Artist Storefront.
II. Memes
Users can earn UWP tokens by creating and downloading memes.
III. NFT Storefront
Users can earn UWP tokens by creating an NFT storefront.
NOTE:
UWP tokens will only be rewarded the first time users connect their wallet to Underworldpics and an artist storefront.
For all other activities(creating memes etc.), users will receive 0.10 UWP tokens per activity/creation.
UWP tokens will transfer to the user's phantom wallets once the user accumulates 10 UWP tokens worth of activity.
Underworldpics is a hybrid type of platform that mixes web2 and web3. The website uses a server, but the Solana blockchain powers the UWP token. Solana's open-source nft software, metaplex, is powering the nft Marketplace.
The easiest way to earn UWP tokens is by creating memes. The founder of Underworldpics, Reggie Simpkins, believes that memes are speech and are the language of the internet. Most internet users communicate thru memes. So it only makes sense to reward users for contributing to the language of the internet.
Underworldpics is still in the infant stage as the UWP token is not available for trading, nor is it listed on Coinmarketcap or Coingecko. But Reggie Simpkins assured us that this is in the current plans.
